The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Died in a California Car Crash

Vince Zampella, the mind behind the globally famous franchise Call of Duty, has tragically died in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California at the age of 55.

His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the video game company that he helped create.

The celebrated game designer passed away following his automobile collided and was engulfed in flames on a freeway in LA on this past Sunday, US media outlets report.

"We are facing a devastating loss, and our hearts are with Vince's family, his loved ones, and all those touched by his work," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts commented.
