Republican state leaders in multiple US regions have assigned National Guard troops on readiness ahead of massive gatherings challenging Donald Trump and his policies.

Demonstration Scope and Coordination

Organizers of the "Anti-Monarchy" movement stated that gatherings are planned at over 2,500 sites across the United States.

As per protest leaders, the prior Anti-Monarchy gathering in June drew over five million participants protesting Trump's governmental approach.

State Actions

Executives in the Lone Star State and Virginia have formally activated their regional National Guard troops, though the level of defense presence remains unknown.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott cited the "scheduled radical demonstration" as reasoning for mobilizing regional military personnel.

Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin similarly authorized mobilization of the commonwealth's National Guard contingent.

Political Reactions

Rally organizers portrayed the assemblies as challenge to Trump's "strong-arm tactics."

"The administration considers his power is absolute," participants argue on their online platform.

"However in this country, we don't have monarchs and we won't back down against chaos, corruption, and cruelty."

Some conservatives have labeled the protests as "Hate America" events.

Kansas Senator Roger Marshall according to sources stated ahead of the protests: "We must deploy the National Guard."

"Hopefully it'll be non-violent. I doubt it," he concluded.

Democratic Response

Opposition officials denounced the deployment of military forces.

Texas Democrat Gene Wu contended: "Deploying weapon-carrying military personnel to control calm demonstrations is precisely what monarchs and tyrants do — and Greg Abbott just demonstrated he's like them."
